The Blueshirts will be ringing in the New Year in South Beach to face off against the Florida Panthers at loanDepot Park, home of MLB’s Miami Marlins.

  • The Blueshirts will be making their sixth appearance in an outdoor game, tying them for the second most among NHL clubs (CHI – 7, PHI & PIT – 6).
  • The Rangers are a perfect 5-0-0 in outdoor events, as they earned wins against the Flyers in the 2012 NHL Winter Classic at Citizens Bank Park, the Devils and Islanders, respectively, at Yankee Stadium as part of the 2014 NHL Stadium Series, the Sabres in the 2018 NHL Winter Classic at Citi Field, and most recently a 6-5 overtime victory against the Islanders at MetLife Stadium in the 2024 Stadium Series.
